Doggie Drillteam

Doggie Drillteam is an extension of Canine Freestyle with dog and handler teams. Obedience manuevers are set to music to show off the dogs and handlers' teamwork. The result is a lot of fun for the participants and the audience. This event is purely for fun and community service. Doggie Drillteams partipate in parades, dog shows, community events, nursing homes, schools, and anywhere that people who appreciate dogs congregate. Join the fun of 4-H Doggie Drillteam.

In Doggie Drillteam 4-H'ers use their HEADS for paying attention, their HEARTS for bonding with their team mates, their HANDS for leading their dogs, and their HEALTH for better performance.

Doggie Drillteam takes Canine Freestyle to a whole new level and pairs it with multiple dog and handler teams. The result is a series of choreographed moves, sometimes set to music, to show off the dog and 4-H'ers teamwork, artistic expression, creativity, orginality, and sense of fun.

Doggie Drillteam is purely a community service project that is meant to be fun. Drillteams participate in parades, community events, nursing homes, schools, etc. Drillteam is a great way to promote 4-H, our local club, dog sports, responsible pet ownership, and ways to enjoy your pet.
